The Best Howlin' Wolf Guitar Solos

Howlin' Wolf's Chess recordings are some of the most influential electric blues ever made. Much of that influence came from his guitarists, especially Hubert Sumlin, whose jagged, unpredictable lines shaped the playing of Clapton, Hendrix, Page and Keith Richards. Before Sumlin, Willie Johnson's distorted, aggressive playing on the early sides pointed straight toward rock and roll.
